Cranberries restaurant is locally owned and operated by husband-and-wife team, Tom and Nancy Elliott since January 2024. We've been married 35 years, and have one daughter, Kristi, who is a special education teacher.
We are Christians and enjoy sharing the love of Jesus Christ with everyone we meet. The Great Smoky Mountains have been our favorite vacation spot for 30+ years. We told each other that we'd move to Tennessee when we retire. In 2023 we decided not to wait any longer. With lots of prayers we sold our home, quit our jobs, and moved to Johnson City, Tennessee, from Ohio where we were born and raised. Each day is a blessing, and tomorrow is not guaranteed.
We are excited to meet new people and look for ways to integrate into the community we now call home. We joined Timberlake Church in Gray, TN in July 2025. Our restaurant has been a Salvation Army Angel Tree host site for two years. We've purchased and given away Jericho Shriners Circus tickets for two years. We participated in the American Red Cross Dine for Disaster on March 27, 2025.
The restaurant has been established in Johnson City for over 20 years. Cranberries offers Salads, Cold or Hot Sandwiches, Signature Sides, Soups, and Quiche made in our kitchen. Everything is made in small batches, and we pride ourselves on serving fresh and healthy food to our customers.
